Henry & Perry
Ceremony

Queen Mary
Long Beach, CA
Henry & Perry's ceremony location has been chosen with great care for how their relationship has unfolded.

Henry proposed to Perry on the Queen Mary 2, and Perry proposed to Henry at Walt Disney World.

Taking these events into consideration, it is only fitting that Henry & Perry be married in the location where the original predecesors for both these places reside.

The ceremony itself will occur on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA at the gazebo, located on the stern of the ship. The reception will follow onboard in the Grand Salon ballroom. The legendary Queen Mary was officially "retired" as an ocean liner in the early 70's and was sold to the city of Long Beach, California, to become a permanent hotel and museum. And even though the ship no longer sails, being on board transports you back to the Golden Age of ocean liners, which is a theme we're very excited to bring to our wedding, as we get married on this elegant and beautiful ship. Henry also has quite a connection to this ship, as he is the fifth generation of his family to have sailed on the various legendary ships of the Cunard Company (The Lusitania, The Mauretania, The Queen Elizabeth and The Aquitania are just a few famous names you may recognize). His father and grandparents sailed on the Queen Mary itself during her heyday, and Henry has grown up hearing stories about what it was like to travel on this elegant liner as a first class passenger in the days after WWII. So, although his grandparents are no longer with us, to be married on the decks where they so often walked, and the reception in a ballroom where they spent much time as they crossed the Atlantic, makes the whole thing even more special.

The next day will be a "Disney Day" where family and friends can join Henry & Perry at the original Disney park - Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.

Specific wedding schedule details are forthcoming, once we have finalized our actual service and wedding reception timeline.

Queen Mary Wedding Gazebo
This wonderful Gazebo is at the back of the ship, facing the Pacific Ocean.
