In as much as we are planning this wedding as a celebration of our love and the creation of our family, we are also planning it as a celebration of all of the love that surrounds us from our families and friends. Some people have asked "why the huge wedding," as opposed to investing that money into a house or a huge trip or just simply into a savings account, and the answer is simple: this is our dream to have a wedding that our loved ones will talk about for the ages!

This wedding event, as that's truly what the wedding weekend will be - a three day party with a wedding attached, is as much about us celebrating having all of you in our lives, as it is about having each other. We have planned something that we think will truly be extraordinary, with exquisite foods, first class entertainment, and a theme that will take us all back in time, to an era that most of us have only heard about... and we invite you to come enjoy the experience of being on this legendary ship, and experiencing it as so many celebrities, political figures and even royalty experienced it through the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's. Our event will transport us all back to the era of the 40's, post World War II, and we hope it's an event that you'll always remember.

But it is also a wedding, and our hope is that the ceremony will inspire all of you that are in relationships, to feel a renewal of your own love... and for our single friends to be inspired about a love that will, no doubt, come along when the timing is right for you, as it finally was for us.

And our sincerest hope, is that when we say goodbye to each other on Sunday, October 12th, that we'll hear all of you say "that was an amazing experience!"
